The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)
is the research and analysis division of Economist Group providing forecasting and advisory services through research and analysis.
Challenge
The client required translation from English into Arabic of market research and economic forecast reports. The main challenge was the wide range of topics, from finance to sustainability and equal opportunities.
Solution
For each translation project, the most suitable translator and copyeditor are selected based on topic. On certain occasion, the opinion of a ”subject matter expert” (SME) is requested to further verify the accuracy of the translation.
Results:
Research and Analysis reports successfully translated into Arabic, achieving technical accuracy.
