The Coca-Cola Arena set the stage for a landmark event in the crypto industry, drawing a global audience of 2,000 participants eager to delve into the future of cryptocurrency. Langpros faced the challenge of ensuring seamless communication across a linguistically diverse audience, highlighting our commitment to innovation and precision in interpreting services.
Objectives
- Deliver flawless interpreting services in six languages, catering to both on-site and remote participants.
- Implement a robust audio distribution system using the Bosch IR system to ensure clear, uninterrupted translations at a large venue.
- Minimize the loss of translation receivers amidst a large audience.
- Provide post-event multilingual recordings, enhancing content accessibility for attendees.
Solution
Our approach was twofold, combining on-site interpreting for French, Russian, and Spanish with remote interpreting for Greek, Chinese, and Portuguese, languages that were not readily available in the UAE. Six interpreters worked in three translation booths in the arena, while the other six worked remotely from their respective country via the ZOOM online platform. The audio stream coming from the interpreters was injected into the Bosch IR system through laptops, soundcards and appropriate cabling to be distributed to the on-site participants via IR Transmitter and a large number of radiators to cover the entire seating area occupied by the audience.
Strategies and Innovations
- Comprehensive Receiver Management: Employed a significant number of receiver handlers and made frequent announcements to mitigate the loss of receivers, resulting in only 10 being unreturned.
- Advanced Recording Techniques: Utilized an extra laptop equipped with audio editing software to record all languages, providing attendees with valuable post-event resources.

The main challenge was managing the logistics of receiver distribution and collection among a large audience. Our strategic planning and effective communication efforts significantly reduced potential losses, showcasing our ability to handle large-scale events with meticulous attention to detail.
