In an innovative collaboration, Langpros transformed a Multi Level Marketing event at Dubai’s prestigious Armani Ballroom into a globally accessible, multilingual conference. Leveraging Zoom, we seamlessly integrated remote interpreting services for both physical attendees and a vast online audience, transcending geographical and linguistic barriers.
Objectives
- Provide simultaneous interpreting in French, Spanish, and Vietnamese for 200 attendees in the ballroom and over 3000 online participants.
- Utilize Zoom’s platform to facilitate live streaming and remote interpreting with minimal logistical and equipment requirements.
- Ensure a cost-effective solution that maintains high-quality translation services.
Solution
Our technical team orchestrated a comprehensive solution utilizing Zoom’s language interpretation functionality. This innovative approach allowed:
- In-Ballroom Participants: To use their smartphones as translation receivers, joining the Zoom meeting to access live interpretation.
- Online Attendees: To follow the event on Zoom, choosing their preferred language (French, Spanish, Vietnamese) channel for a personalized experience.
Challenges and Strategies
- Technical Setup: Detailed planning was essential to integrate remote interpreters seamlessly with Zoom, ensuring real-time, high-quality translations. Laptops, sound card, video cards and 5G routers were employed. A robust WIFI network was also created to support the onsite attendees.
